Relationship building skills are a combination of soft skills that a person applies to connect with others and form positive relationships. In the workplace, relationship building skills are essential for having a good relationship with coworkers, contributing to a team, and building an understanding between yourself and others.

Communication and trust are two main ingredients for a successful relationship. Effective communication ensures that a message was sent, received, and most importantly, understood. In a recent Interact/Harris Poll, 91 percent of 1,00 employees surveyed reported that “communicating” well is the one critical skill that is lacking amongst leaders.

In Communication & Relationship Building, we provide participants with insight on how to build more effective relationships by first assessing their personal communication
style, to understand how to engage with others more effectively. We accept that listening is a very important form of communication and is sorely under-developed. It is where trust is planted and nurtured between individuals.

Participants are encouraged to practice “empathic” listening in all their interactions…a skill that is sorely under-
developed. This workshop engaging and interactive, and includes a variety of games,music, videos, breakout sessions, and team/group exercises, to enhance the overall learning experience.
