SCRUM Product Owner Certified (SPOC™) certification is a credential for those SCRUM Team members with certain project management responsibilities. This certificate level validates the product owner has the requisite knowledge of SCRUM that equips them to handle the business aspects and stakeholders in a SCRUM environment.
The Product Owner represent the end user or customer and is concerned with the interests of these stakeholders. It is the Product Owner’s job to be intimately familiar with the ‘customer’s point of view’ so that they can accurately represent the needs of the customer and ensure the end user experience expectations are met. He/she clearly communicates features, functionalities, requirements, and other criteria essential to the end user.
Exam Format
- 140 multiple choice questions
- One point for each correct response
- No deduction of points for incorrect responses
- 180 minutes duration

Prerequisites
There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, it is recommended that those interested in SPOC™ first complete either SDC™ or SMC™ course of study to promote better understanding of the concepts required for this certification exam.

Maintaining Certification:
To maintain the certification status, Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC™) professionals will need to earn 40 re-certification credits every 3 years.
How to Get Certified:

3. Take the exam
4. Upon successful completion of the exam get an Online certificate
- Your name will be added to the SCRUMstudy Certification Registry.
- The physical certificate and a lapel pin will be shipped to you.
- If unsuccessful with passing the exam you may retake a maximum of two times at no cost
